‘I’-sculpted clay.

The sculptor Deborah Gall creates the heart with her hands from stoneware clay. Once formed, she passes the wet clay to Jessica, whom she mentors. Jessica then intuitively carves the clay to bring out the specific energy surrounding this creation. During this process, an energetic’ name emerges.

We carry that name through the Raku ‘birthing through fire’ process in which the wall sculpture is taken out of a red hot 1800° kiln and placed in a can of combustibles. Immediately the heart ignites, and fire swirls around the form. Smoke leaves its mark in unique, interesting patterns as it calms and cools.

“I” feels like an elder heart — a white tree carved clearly down her center, its trunk holding seven distinct chakra stones, each one expressive and purposeful. Beside them run her teachings: I Teach. I Know. I Say. I Feel. I Guide. I Create. I Do. She carries the weight of wisdom without heaviness, the quiet authority of someone who has lived many lives and distilled them into clarity. Her presence is steady, guiding, trustworthy — a sage in heart form, offering direction not through force but through calm, ancient knowing.
