About Deborah and Jessica

Gall’s Gallery was founded in 2021, but its roots run deep.

Deborah Gall has been sculpting with clay since the 1980s, developing a distinctive voice through hand-sculpted feminine forms that celebrate intuition, strength, and grace.

For five years, she has partnered with her daughter-in-law Jessica in a close creative collaboration, transforming their shared passion for raku into the heart of Gall’s Gallery.

Together, Deborah and Jessica create every piece as partners in a true family endeavor.

Deborah hand-sculpts each unique body—feminine forms, hearts, masks, and more—shaping the foundational forms on the wheel and at the sculpting table with no molds ever used.

She then passes each piece to Jessica, who intuitively carves, textures, and often imprints meaningful words, layering symbolism, spirit, and personal resonance into the work.

Every piece is one-of-a-kind.

The cycle of transformation continues in the fire.

Deborah and Jessica’s raku process brings copper-enriched glazes alive with stunning iridescent metallic copper flashes, while clear crackle glazes capture dramatic smoke patterns.

Their husbands and sons—John, Pete (Jessica’s husband), and Shayne—pull the glowing pieces from the 1800-degree kiln and place them into reduction cans, completing the alchemy with care and strength.

At Gall’s Gallery, art is a living conversation between generations, intuition, and fire.

Clay, Fire, and Crystals is more than a tagline—it is the essence of our family ritual and shared vision.
