'Lousie' is hand-sculpted. She is one of our marbled ladies. Creating the depth and effects of a marbled rock-like look takes hours upon hours of layers of combustibles with multiple firings. At the last stage of development, Louise was 'birthed 'through Raku fire and crowned with horsehair to bring forth a depth of her personality. Looking closer at her body, you may see nebula clusters amongst the horsehair. Together they form beautiful star-like clusters, bringing the heavens and earth closer.
