Jackie
Jackie is hand-sculpted clay.
The sculptor Deborah Gall creates a feminine form with her hands from stoneware clay. Once formed, she passes the wet clay to Jessica. Jessica then intuitively carves the clay to bring out the specific energy surrounding this creation. During this process, an energetic’ name emerges.
We carry that name through the Raku ‘birthing through fire’ process in which the wall sculpture is taken out of a red hot 1800° kiln and placed in a can of combustibles. Immediately the body ignites, and fire swirls around the form. Smoke leaves its mark in unique, interesting patterns as it calms and cools.
She carries a poised, resilient beauty — a woman shaped by contrast, where smooth clarity meets textured strength in a way that feels both protective and deeply feminine. Calm, steady, and quietly radiant, she inspires presence without demanding attention, an old soul who moves through the world with fresh, effortless grace.
